This album follows the journey of one's attempt at making a difference, and their inevitable failure.

Each song chronicles the stream of consciousness as they try and find themselves and their purpose, while dealing with a fragmented mind and psyche. They attempt to use their talents to help others, and find themselves a slave to grueling masters at every turn, their kind ways pushed away in order to fight for survival as best as they can.

They find the world much crueler than was taught, and suffers great pain in their ignorance and innocence. They work themselves to breaking points, and surpassing them in blind grasps for a better life, a better community, a better world.

Ultimately, coming towards the final push of their journey, the weight on the mind, body, and soul is too heavy, and must finally come to the surface after years of suppression. Unable to hold any longer, they submit to their pain, and allow it to release them.
